Karen Oliver
Welcome to my art journey. My art is all about what inspires me. Painting is my passionate way to express how I see and feel the world around me. My paintings sing with colour and depicts subjects I am dramatically inspired by (visually or emotionally). I love the unpredictability of water colour, tactile oil, creative mixed-media and the boldness of acrylic paint. I am continuously learning, experimenting, painting different subjects and experiencing the different nuances with the variety of mediums.
I enjoy being a juried active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists as well as a member of the Eagle Valley Brush and Palette Club in Sicamous, B.C. My paintings are in collections in Alberta, B. C., Mexico, Poland and U.S.A. Paintings are at Enderby Courtyard Gallery as well as specific shows with The Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver.
