This unintentional series began as I helped my Mother-In-Law downsize to go into a senior's apartment. As we went through her and her Mother's photo albums a lot of memories were stirred. As I did not know the people, I purposefully did not paint in facial features to look like the people in the very small photographs (some 1" x 2"), but more generic to still up memories for others. I made greeting cards for her to give out and for sale at the show. The whole series is of 16 paintings. So many memories and stories, so little time for us both. Top left: "Better Together", oil, 16" x 12" framed Top right: "First Train Holiday", oil, 16" x 12" Bottom left: "Going To Town", oil, 16" x 12" Bottom right: "Travelling Trio", oil 16" x 12" Each painting is $270
